The pricing reflected on this website is subject to change without notice.

Order Processing Time

Please allow up to 48 hours for website orders to be processed. All orders received before 10:00AM, EST will ship the following business day. In the event that your order requires more than five business days to process and ship, you will be notified by a DSD Customer Service agent either by email or telephone.

Back Orders

We make every effort to ship orders complete, but in the event that an item is not in stock; we will notify you that the item is on Back Order within 48 hours of your placing your order. Please note that we will ship your order complete when all items are in stock unless otherwise stated. Back Orders are automatically canceled 30 days after the order is placed.

Special Orders

Special orders may not be returned. Once the order has been submitted to our manufacturer, cancellations will not be accepted.

Special Requests/Group Orders

We have access to many items not listed on our online dance shop. If you are interested in a specific style or specific dance product not listed on our website, please Contact Us. We manufacture any style of dancewear in any color. We will make every effort to meet your dance needs.

Exchange & Return Policy

NO EXCHANGES OR RETURNS WILL BE PERMITTED DURING COVID 19 PANDEMIC.  ONCE THE PANDEMIC IS OVER WE WILL HONOR OUR POLICY MENTIONED BELOW

You can return most new and unopened items within 14 days of delivery for online credit only. Items must be returned in new or unused condition and contain all original materials included with the shipment. Not all items are returnable for exchange or credit. Please refer to our Non-Returnable Products section on this page for a list of these items.

To return an item within 14 days of purchase please contact our customer service department. We will issue you an RMA number that must be clearly visible on the outside of the package being returned. Returns received without an RMA number will be refused and returned to the customer. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges incurred.

Upon arrival at the DSD warehouse all returned items are inspected. If the item is returned unopened within 14 days of delivery* we will issue online credit for the full cost of the merchandise minus the original shipping charge and actual return shipping fees.

If the item has been opened or shows signs of wear we will not issue online credit for the item. Since the return freight for this item is the customer's responsibility, we will contact you and inform you that the return has been denied and ask you what you would like us to do with the returned item. On your discretion, we will ship the item back to you.

Online Credit is not redeemable for cash. It expires exactly one year from the issue date. Lost customer credits are the sole responsibility of the customer and will not be re-issued.

Non-Returnable Products:

  • Undergarments, Tights or Body Tights
  • Gift Cards
  • Perfumes & Fragrances
  • Any CD, DVD, VHS Tape and Cassette tape that has been opened/taken out of its plastic wrap
  • Custom Manufactured articles such as costumes, custom tutus, etc...
  • Make-up & Cosmetics (Including Eyelashes & Eyelash Adhesive)
  • Jewelry
  • Hair Accessories
  • Pointe Shoes,Toe Pads & Foot Care Items
  • Discounted or Clearance Items
  • Other select items, as noted on the product's description page

Footwear Return Policy:

Ballet/Jazz Shoes/ Dance Shoes: Make sure your feet are clean and dry before putting them into the new shoe. Imprints will be left on the inside if tight or your feet are damp. We suggest you lay down a towel before trying them on. Shoes soil easily and the satin on the pointe shoes become scratched and marred easily.

Taps/Sneakers: Please try shoes on a carpeted floor only. The taps scratch easily and would therefore be non-returnable.

Please do not wear any shoes for class outdoors, or for any length of time if you plan to return them.

Footwear can only be exchanged for store credit if it is returned in its original packaging and having all tags intact. We will not issue Return Merchandise Authorizations for footwear items that show any signs of wear.

POINTE SHOES CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED!!!!
